What was the highlight of Hotel Musa D'ajuda

The apartment was nice and comfortable.

The apartment was nice and comfortable. Breakfast choice was good (breakfast time from 7.30 until 11 a.m.).

The streets around are noisy. Some receptionists were not really friendly. The lift didn't work for 2 days and no information about it.

Great place to stay, the best with blackbird song.

All the staff were friendly. Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is excellent and the garden are beautiful. Loved most the singing blackbird around the pool at 4pm

The gym needs a serious update. Please for next year. Proper floor mats. Good selection of weights. Blocs for yoga. Better space.

Nice staff. Eveything else bad.

Staff was helpfull.

The furniture was dated. Maybe 1980-1990. Location about an hour walk from city centre. Air conditioning remote didn't work first day, as betteries run out and with new batteries - the code didn't work. The sheets were nor replaced despite being accidentally spilled on. Breakfast was OK, but the same cheap low quality ham and cheese for 7 days straight.

Bit of Winter sun in a quiet but central hotel

This is our third visit. The staff are so lovely & helpful. Breakfast omelettes are made to order & scrumptious! Rooms are kept very clean. This is a small quiet hotel & we use the pool at the sister hotel. Pool towels are free & umbrellas are €1.50 per day. Pool is large & there’s plenty of room for sunbathing

Enjoyable stay recommended

Always love the buffet breakfast at the Hardin Ajuda hotel. The staff are always happy to see you and go out of their way to help. We love the big outdoor pool, cold water but so refreshing on a hot March sunny day.

Bigger and better quality TV.

Indoor pool

We booked a hotel we thought had indoor and outdoor pools,jacuzzi,sauna and steam room. We arrived to be told that we would be eating and sleeping in one hotel and would have to go down the street to the other hotel to use pools etc. I was under the impression that I had booked the hotel with the pool in the first place. So I asked to be moved to that hotel with all the facilities. Felt tricked. Didn't like the fact that hotel Jardins a'juda never had the steam room on and you had to ask them to put on the sauna and open the gym! Also nowhere to put your clothes at the indoor pool except on the poolside beds

What was the highlight of Hotel Musa D'ajuda

It was just perfect and I would like to return again.

Staff was very helpfull and friendly. Hotel is located next to shoping center and there are plenty of restaurants around. Breakfast on the first moment looked rather poor, but you can order warm meals in addition to standard buffet selection.

It seems the only flat place in Funchal is runway at the airport, all other streets seem to be climbing up to sky. Hotel is a bit far from the city center, yet it offers free bus transfer to the center and back several times per day.

was not what i was hoping for

the room needs to be up date the furniture old.no covers for the beds in the day time.and as for tv was so small could not see it very good.the safe in room hade no lock on it broken. and as for thechenett there was nothing to boil water for tea or coffee.the coffee machine there was old.the frig when went to use .look like it hade not been clean in a long time.the rubber round door was black and in side was dirty same with cooker hood.do they not have some cheak the rooms when guest leave,in the bath room the wc seat was make bad from door and under side was not good.did ask to speak with the manger but he was on hoilday but they tould me some would come no one did.the nite befor i was to leave the offter me to move to other hotel but for one nite no way.and as they say this is a 4 star hotel.need a lot doing with it

Adequate but nothing special.

I was given a mattress topper when requested as bed was too hard. Nice side view from balcony. Good bus services into centre of town. Nice restaurants very local.

Hard beds, no soft chairs to sit on. Balcony furniture very uncomfortable. Very small lift. A lot of noise from the street especially motorbikes at night.
